Pro V Bass XS canvassing

I've been thinking about the Pro V Bass XS for a while but haven't seen one in person. Local dealers don't have it in stock and nobody around here owns it, too. If you own one or have spent time in one, I'd really like to hear the good and the bad before I decide.

I wrestled with the same question before pulling the trigger on a Pro V Bass XS last year. I'll tell ya it's like finding a good pair of boots, comfortable right outta the box but even better after some miles. The ride is smooth over chop, the layout feels thought out for guys who actually fish and it's nimble enough to hustle between spots without breaking a sweat.

That said, storage could be a tad more clever and the helm feels a hair cluttered once you add electronics. If you're still kicking tires, I'd ask what kind of water you run. This rig shines in open lakes but might be overkill if you're mostly creek crawling.

I've got some decent seat time in a Pro V Bass XS, and I'll say this, a deep v that handles chop better than your typical bass boat, it's a strong contender, good for fishing and check out the layout. its super smart, tons of storage, and goo din rough water. only thing is that it can be heavier than your average bass boat and for some people the gunnel height can be too high

I tried a Pro V Bass XS at a demo event last spring, and honestly, it performed a lot better in rough conditions than I anticipated. It felt like a mini walleye boat that could zip around like a bass boat. I really liked the design, but I will say it's a little heavier to tow compared to my old setup. If you're into fishing on big waters, this is definitely a strong choice.
