Considering a Lund 1675 Adventure with a 75hp

Want to get a Lund 1675 Adventure paired with a 75hp merc, it'd be my first deep V, and I'm trying to wrap my head around how different it might feel compared to what I'm used to
For context, I've spent the last 8 years fishing out of a flat bottom Tracker 16, 40hp, its real stable on calm lakes, great for tossing jigs from the bow, but it turns into a rodeo the second wind or chop picks up, I mostly fish in northern Wisconsin, yunno some small lakes, but also a few bigger bodies

The Lund looks like a serious upgrade especially with a deep V hull, I'm thinking I'll finally be able to run across open water without feeling like I'm about to shake a kidney loose

Absolutely, a deep V hull should cut thru choppy water way better and feel more stable and safe when you're moving fast. And with that 75hp engine, you'll plane quicker and have a smoother ride than you would in your Tracker boat or any Tracker boat for that matter

I own a 2003 Lund 1675 Adventure, wouldn't own any other! Boat is very stable and runs rougher water with my 75 Tiller Merc with no problem. You will love it....

If you've spent 8 years on a flat-bottom and handled it fine, jumping to a deep V might actually make you soft....some guys chase comfort and forget how to fish.
