My dad and I love boats a lot, and recently he bought a Lund impact xs 1775.
Lund boats are supposed to be the best aluminum boats out there, right? But here's what's bugging me:
Their warranty only covers the super strong seams (double rivets) forever. That means all the other regular rivets could fail, and you're on your own.
The floors are made of wood, and everyone knows wood eventually rots. Lund might cover the wood, but who wants to tear up their whole floor when it happens?
The aluminum on the main part of the boat is pretty thin compared to other brands, except for the very front where it's doubled up.
Now, look at a Ranger aluminum boat. They give you a lifetime warranty on some really important parts like the back, inside supports, and outside welds.
Btw, my dad loves the Lund boat a lot. so, those are all my personal thoughts
what do you think about Lunds guys?
