Lund vs. Lowe

I've been around Lunds for a while now and from my observations they are really good rigs, no complaints and all yunno everything going pretty wonderful but I recently had a chance to check out my friend's Lowe and it got me in a spiral coz the layouts were surprisingly similar, and I was impressed by how clean the welds and finish looked for the price point.
Not saying I'm jumping ship now lol or thinking of doing it but I wanna turn the tables around a lil bit and ask if anyone has or knows anyone who has made the switch from a Lowe to Lund and is currently here, and if you have give reasons or reasons why the person you knew took the decision, also person open opinions on the matter can come in even though you might not have gone through the switch yourself, do differences in hull design, ride, or durability really show over time?

Yeah, there are similarities between Lund and Lowe, especially with modern designs. It's interesting how competitive the market has become! I haven't personally made any kind of switch but a buddy moved from Lowe to Lund a couple years back. The biggest factor for him was the ride in chop. He fishes a lot of big, open water, and while his Lowe was a great boat, he felt the Lund's IPS hull handled rougher conditions much better. He said making the switch gave him a drier and smoother experience!

I haven't switched myself, but I've heard folks say Lowe's great for the price, especially with that clean finish. My concern is whether Lund's hull design really makes enough difference in rough water to justify the higher cost long-term

In my experience, while Lowe's modern designs are very good, Lund often gets the nod for a slightly more refined, drier, and softer ride, especially in choppy water. Lund's IPS (Integrated Power Strake) hull designs are often cited for their unique chine and strakes that aim to create more lift, stability, and a smoother ride by breaking up waves effectively. Owners who spend a lot of time on bigger, rougher water often praise this difference
